Foreign Representative in Singapore, Kazakh Invest

Diana Ablyakimova is an accomplished investment and trade professional with over 12 years of experience, including extensive international work across Southeast Asia. She currently serves as the Foreign Representative of KAZAKH INVEST in Singapore, a position to which she was appointed by the Board chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She also holds the role of Investment Officer at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Singapore, focusing on strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and ASEAN countries.

Diana began her career in management consulting at Frost & Sullivan in Malaysia and Singapore, where she supported IPO projects as part of due diligence teams. She later took on a leadership role in the private sector as Deputy Director of Sales & Marketing at the luxury development Royal Phuket Marina in Thailand.

At the national investment promotion agency Kazakh Invest, Diana played a key role in advancing Kazakhstan’s investment climate. Her work included developing strategic communications like the "Why Kazakhstan" presentation, engaging with global media outlets such as CNBC and the Financial Times, and collaborating with major international organizations including the OECD and World Bank. She successfully supported projects involving global companies such as PepsiCo, Honeywell, TikTok, and Wabtec, as well as investment initiatives from major Asia-Pacific firms including Proton, International Cement Group, and PSA International.

Diana holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and International Business from Swinburne University of Technology (Malaysia).
