The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Head of Trade Policy, APAC, Amazon
Hadri Sopri is the Head of Trade Policy (APAC) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads strategic engagement on trade and public policy issues across the region. He brings deep expertise in trade negotiations, digital economy policy, and multilateral engagement, with a strong track record of working across government, industry, and international fora such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), ASEAN, and APEC. Prior to joining AWS, Hadri held various roles at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, where he was instrumental in negotiating digital economy agreements and digital trade chapters in free trade agreements with partners in the Asia-Pacific. He also served as a diplomat for Singapore in Geneva, where he led the launch of plurilateral negotiations on digital trade at the WTO.
