Royston Ng

Royston Ng

Head of Regulatory Strategy, Sea Limited

Royston has over 25 years in civil and criminal litigation, commercial and corporate legal, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Royston’s prior experience includes being a prosecutor, a judge, and roles with DBS Bank, General Electric, PayPal, Wirecard, Agoda, Booking Holdings, Mastercard, and fintech startup EMQ.

In addition to criminal and corporate trial experience, Royston has negotiated multibillion dollar fund distribution agreements, drafted key commercial contracts for e-commerce and e-payment market leaders, and was also a delegate at the United Nations Convention Against Corruption. He has guided companies through licensing applications, regulatory and external audits and implemented AML systems in multinational companies.

Royston is Head of Regulatory Strategy for Sea Ltd and concurrently the Head of Compliance and Regulatory Management for Monee, which includes banks, payment service providers, consumer finance companies, and insurers.
