Ng Say Ling

Head of Small Business Asia Pacific, Visa

Current Position and Responsibilities
Say Ling is the Asia Pacific Head of Small Business at Visa Commercial Solutions, based in Singapore. She leads Visa’s regional agenda to grow commercial payment flows for small businesses, shaping multi-year strategy and market roadmaps across AP markets.
Her remit spans strategy building, product development, and ecosystem partnerships —curating Pay and be Paid solutions such as virtual card, spend management and controls, working capital tools, and digital acceptance enablement. A cross functional leader, she works with product, risk, legal, client services, and data teams to accelerate launches, establish governance and KPIs, and scale successful pilots. She also drives integrated marketing and thought leadership, equips sales and partner teams with playbooks and training, and co creates go to market plans with clients. Staying close to regulatory shifts and industry trends, she ensures solutions remain secure, compliant, and finely tuned to the needs of small businesses.

Other Information
Before joining Visa, Say Ling spent 14 years at American Express in Singapore, culminating as Head of Small Medium Enterprise, where she oversaw sales and account management for the SMB segment. Her career at Amex spanned leadership roles across Global Commercial Payments, Merchant Services, and Business Travel, partnering with global and regional clients to drive acquisition, portfolio growth, retention, and share of wallet expansion. She has experience building client-focused teams and establishing partnerships to deliver scalable solutions across multiple markets.
Say Ling holds a Bachelor of Science (Management) from the National University of Ireland (Dublin).
