As Managing Director of Group Data & AI at Great Eastern, Dr Zhao Jingyuan is responsible for defining, developing and deploying group Data & AI strategies to drive business value and empower everyone in Great Eastern to use data to make better decisions.

She is an experienced Data & AI professional and has held leadership roles across different industries over the past 15 years, which includes A*STAR research institutes, Nielsen, SingTel, Lazada/Alibaba group, NTUC Enterprise and Capgemini. She brings a unique mix of experiences in data science, big data, data monetization and business strategy. Before joining Great Eastern, she was VP of Capgemini, heading Data & AI APAC team to help their APAC clients build Data & AI capabilities and deliver tangible business outcomes at scales. In addition, she was SVP of NTUC enterprise, heading Group advanced data & analytics center to build extensive group Data & AI capabilities, and to shape and transform their business using data-driven strategies.

Jingyuan holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from National University of Singapore (NUS). She has been featured as a guest speaker in numerous talks and conferences in Singapore and overseas. She is also ardent about nurturing young talents, teaching data science and big data related courses as an adjunct professor of NUS. She received Singapore 100 Women in Tech award (2021T) and NUS Outstanding Science Alumni award (2024) in recognition of her contributions to the Technology and Science sector.
