The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Head of Fintech & Innovation Team, British Columbia Securities Commission
Zach is responsible for leading BCSC’ Fintech and Innovation Team and also manages the Legal Services team in BCSC's Capital Markets Regulation division. In this role, Zach leads management of legal issues across a wide range of market participants including broker/dealers, portfolio managers, marketplaces and self-regulatory organizations, with a particular focus on fintech and emerging technologies as applied to these business models. Prior to joining BCSC in 2016 Zach was Associate General Counsel at a global investment management firm, where he also acted as Canadian Chief Privacy Officer.
