Mohamed Zohiri is a Legal Counsel and FinTech Policy Leader at the Alberta Securities Commission, where he advises on the regulation of digital assets, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and Open Finance. He plays a leading role in the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) Financial Innovation Hub, shaping Canada’s regulatory approach to stablecoins, tokenization, digital identity, and emerging market infrastructure.

Internationally, Mohamed is deeply engaged in global regulatory dialogues, contributing to the IOSCO FinTech Task Force, the Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN), and international roundtables on tokenization, AI, and cross-border regulatory cooperation. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at major industry events, including the Singapore FinTech Festival, the IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub, and the GFTN Insights Forum.
