The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Executive Director Policy, Innovation and Communications, Jersey Financial Services Commission
Alan is the Executive Director of Policy, Innovation and Marketing and Communications at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Alan has over 30 years experience in banking, payments and FinTech, until recently leading strategy and policy at the UK’s Open Banking Implementation Entity, working closely with policymakers, regulators, banks and FinTechs to develop an open banking ecosystem that delivers for consumers and small businesses. Prior to this, Alan spent over 20 years at Barclays, leading Government Relations and Public Policy for its retail and Barclaycard businesses.
Alan has also been a member of the Bank of England’s CBDC Technology Forum, and the UK’s Smart Data Council.
