The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Deborah has fostered collaboration among global regulators, institutions, and investors in regulatory technology and innovation. Her work has supported the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that elevate trust and standards in citizen-facing ecosystems worldwide.
As the founding CEO and Advisory Committee member for The RegTech Association, and global committee member for Women in Regulatory Innovation and Alliance for Innovative Regulation, Deborah tackles global challenges, enabling growth, and safeguarding financial systems and people. Deborah’s work spans forging strategic partnerships, influencing policy, and advancing diversity and inclusion - particularly in women’s economic empowerment.
She regularly contributes to global forums such as the Singapore FinTech Festival, World Bank, and Global Financial Innovation Network, and has been a mentor for Women's World Banking.
Deborah is spearheading the next exciting phase of development for the CCAF/Fii Regulator Knowledge Exchange (RKE) strategic roadmap - in particular, deepening regulatory community building and engagement and launching the Women Regulators Network.
