Deepika Vidanagamage is a seasoned banking professional with over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. She currently serves as the Chief Manager – Operations at Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest private commercial bank.

In her current role, Deepika oversees the Bank’s entire operations network, comprising 273 branches island-wide. Her responsibilities span customer onboarding, operational investigations, process optimization, and the development and implementation of systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency across all aspects of banking.

A dedicated leader in staff development, Deepika is also responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs in Banking Operations for all frontline and customer-facing staff, fostering a culture of service excellence and operational efficiency.

In recognition of her expertise and commitment to customer service, she has been appointed as the Bank’s Complaints Resolution Officer, a role in which she ensures prompt and effective resolution of customer grievances while upholding the highest standards of service delivery.

Deepika is an Associate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Bankers (AIB-SL) and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the operational landscape of Sri Lanka’s banking sector.
