Sam is London Site Lead and Head of International Public Policy at Stripe, the programmable financial services company. Millions of companies use Stripe to accept payments online and in person, embed financial services, power custom revenue models, and build a more profitable business. Sam leads a team of policy professionals across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region, who advocate for the needs of the digital economy.

Sam is a member of the Financial Stability Board’s Legal, Regulatory & Supervisory Taskforce.

A policy professional with 25 years experience across the financial services and retail sectors, Sam held senior roles at one of Europe’s largest banks and an Asia-based investment bank prior to joining Stripe in 2019.
