The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Chief Executive Officer, Boost Connect
Ankur Jakhwal was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Boost Connect in September 2022, a cross-border payment platform of Boost, the regional full spectrum fintech arm of Axiata.
Ankur joined Boost in 2018, as one of the pioneers to build the lending business together with our Group CEO, Sheyantha Abeykoon. He led the team to create affordable and accessible loans across the region that are catered for the underserved market under Boost Credit (formerly known as Aspirasi).
Prior to Boost Connect, Ankur is a seasoned Fintech leader and a Tech entrepreneur with a demonstrated history in business leadership roles in retail financial services across MNC Banks (ABN Amro Bank & RBS), Large Corporates (GE), SMEs & Start-ups (fintech & e-commerce). He is a startup mentor, speaker/panelist and instructor & guest lecturer at Fintech schools/colleges.
Ankur completed his Management, Finance & IT in Amity University, India and participated in a leadership program from Harvard University.
