Vice President, AP Head of Visa Direct , Visa

Rhidoi is the Head of Visa Direct for Visa in Asia Pacific. Rhidoi and his team are responsible for the development, solutioning and commercialisation of Visa’s money movement capabilities for enterprise clients. Visa’s money movement capabilities enable consumers, businesses and governments to scale their payment needs.


Prior to Visa, Rhidoi held various leadership and management roles at DBS Bank. He was most recently the Group Head of Non-Bank Financial Institutions Sales and Head of Business Development for DBS Globesend – a platform he and his team built and launched in the consumer banking division. Additionally, Rhidoi previously headed Cross-Border Payments in DBS' Digital Payments Group, managing DBS Remit – a direct-to-consumer digital money transfer service in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia.


Rhidoi began his banking career as a Fixed Income trader with Credit Suisse in New York before moving to Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore where he held roles in global markets, debt origination, trading, sales, and as COO. At Standard Chartered, he and his team launched a digital FX platform known as ‘SCALE’, enabling corporate and institutional clients to access the bank’s FX liquidity across the globe.

Rhidoi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from INSEAD.
