GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Regional Manager, Engine by Starling
Sona has worked across Strategy, Product & Business Development within Engine, Starling Bank’s Software-as-a-Service arm. She works closely with clients to understand both their strategic vision and technical requirements. Sona is focusing on growing the Engine business within the APAC & Gulf regions as Regional Manager.
Sona joined Engine following a career in consulting at PwC, where she worked alongside Starling Bank, as they built out their business banking proposition following the award of a £100m grant. Sona has spent time across risk, operations and technology transformation within both retail and investment banking. Outside of work Sona is a qualified yoga teacher, competitive badminton player and keen surfer.
