Aaron Foo
Chief Product Officer, Tyme Group
Aaron is the Chief Product Officer of Tyme Group, leading its product strategy, development and design for the Group's banks in South Africa and the Philippines. Prior to this, Aaron was the Chief Strategy and Proposition Officer of GoTyme Bank, leading its strategy formulation, product proposition design, pricing, strategic partnerships and strategic finance initiatives, since GoTyme’s inception in 2021. Before this, Aaron was Head of Strategy and Special Projects in Tyme Group, leading a variety of strategic initiatives including Tyme’s post-covid strategy, capital raising, and international expansion, including the development of the GoTyme joint venture with the Gokongwei Group.
Aaron started his career at McKinsey & Company as a consultant in the Greater China and New York offices, focused on corporate finance and strategy. Following his stint at McKinsey, Aaron joined ZX Ventures, the in-house corporate venture and incubator of AB InBev, as their Associate Director of Strategy & Finance, to lead their New Business Strategy across North Asia, and then joined Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a Senior Strategy Manager. Aaron graduated from Brown University magna cum laude in Mathematical Finance, and also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
