The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Chek-Tchung Foo is a strong advocate for the adoption of digital technologies in financial services and payments throughout his years of experience in central banking, financial services, technology, and consulting.
He is currently the Executive Director, Public Policy for the Global Finance & Technology Network, where he is responsible for government relations and public policy, and leads public sector advisory services. Prior to joining GFTN, he was the APAC Public Policy Director for Meta, where as a strategic leader, he oversaw external engagement regarding financial services policy and regulatory issues across Meta’s products and services.
