The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Conan is Director in the Digital Finance Department at the IIF, a research and advocacy organization for the global financial services industry with 360 members from 60 countries. Focus areas for his work include AI, data policy, digital assets—central bank digital currencies (CBDC), blockchain, tokenization, and ledger technologies—cloud computing, payments innovation, and digital identity. Conan serves as a Trustee of the Eurasia Foundation. He earned his MBA from Georgetown University and his BA in History and Economics from Dickinson College.
