Romi is an entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a distinctive blend of corporate finance, deep-tech commercialisation, and ecosystem development experience. Having grown up in East Africa and worked across Europe, Asia, and North America, he brings a global perspective and local understanding of how technology, capital, and partnerships can drive sustainable transformation. His career bridges financial institutions, deep-tech ventures, and community-driven innovation, positioning him uniquely to connect emerging-market opportunities with frontier-technology ecosystems.

Currently he is the Director of Business Development at QAI Ventures. Previously, he was, Director of Business Development at Terra Quantum, founded The Oblique Life, a sustainability-focused leadership community connecting over 5,000 professionals worldwide and was also a former HSBC Debt Capital Markets associate.
