Kevin Tay

Kevin Tay

Head of Strategic Initiatives and Retail Payments, Swift

Kevin joined Swift in 2022 and is responsible for developing strategies and future-state models for Swift to support financial stability and frictionless transactions in today’s economy. He works on transversal initiatives in payments, securities, foreign exchange and trade. Kevin also drives interoperability initiatives across fiat payment infrastructures, regulated bank and non-bank networks, alongside ecosystems of digital assets and currencies.

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience across transaction banking, management consulting, payment market infrastructure, and payment service providers.

Since 2024, Kevin has been appointed a Payments sub-committee member of Singapore Fintech Association. Prior to Swift, Kevin has held various strategy and product roles at DBS Bank, OCBC Bank, McKinsey and NETS Group.

Kevin graduated with First Class Honours in Engineering from National University of Singapore and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
