The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invests in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Akanksha Rath is a communications leader and educator with experience across academia, business, and the nonprofit sector. She leads Capacity Building and Learning initiatives at the Global Finance and Technology Network and teaches at Singapore Management University, having also taught at NTU and NUS. Akanksha has several years of experience in managing complex programs and fostering cross-functional collaboration and holds a Master's in Tri-Sector Collaboration. Passionate about persuasion, storytelling, and corporate communications, Akanksha has been recognized on the SMU Dean’s Teaching Honours List for her teaching.
